Position Summary:
Helps develop and promote the brand of the organization for the Pontiac, Clarkston, and Oxford Ambulatory Centers. Implements new ways to help the business grow and thrive in the face of competition. Develops business ideas to improve the sales record of the organization. Participates fully in gathering contacts and databases for the organization.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
:
Assists with developing and implementing effective business development strategies.
Assesses financial projections and business plans of the organization.
Evaluates the business expansion needs and start-up for the organization, especially when there is push into new business environments.
Collects and analyzes data from ratio analysis, trends, cash flows, income statements and balance sheets.
Liaises with any program geared towards business development by the organization in provision of technical assistance to clients, including market plans, business evaluation, projected cash flows and financial performance.
Creates business development database to evaluate performance &organize client/prospective client information.
Fosters beneficial relationships with business partners, potential clients, and business contacts in order to attract new business and enhance organization reputation.
Closes new business deals by developing and negotiating contracts.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; review professional publications; establishpersonal networks; participate in professional societies.
Performs other related duties as required and directed.
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or relevant related field.
Proven work experience as a business development specialist.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Working knowledge of MS Office products.
An ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment necessary inproviding service.
Ability to work effectively with a variety of teams and personalities.
Current knowledge of functional area theories, practices and techniques per discipline.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limitedstandardization exists.
Knowledge and skill with common office software applications.
