Lead all aspects of & support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Emerson’s Safety and Health programs for Measurement Solutions Field Services Operations.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Lead all aspects of & support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Emerson’s Safety and Health programs for Measurement Solutions Field Services Operations.
As the EHS Leader, you will:
Serve as a critical business partner & drive a consistent strategic vision for EHS across regional field services organization:a. Align with MSol Global EHS & AP EHS strategies, initiatives, systems & expectations to drive safety awareness, engagement, and incident prevention.
b. Partner with leadership to integrate health and safety programs, activities & routines providing EHS leadership, expertise & mentorship.
Be responsible efficiency of EHS programs:a. Develop, successfully implement, supervise and review regional health & safety policies & standards in alignment with Emerson, local regulatory, & customer EHS expectations.
b. Develop and ensure EHS-related training programs are in place and optimally deployed by measuring performance and compliance.
c. Maintains a detailed understanding of related laws/regulations and emerging issues to ensure compliance with all local and regional regulations.
d. Lead internal and external inspections & audits ensuring Management Systems are effective and in conformance to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 Standards. Ensuring corrective actions are supervised, detailed, and closed timely.
e. Analyze EHS statistics, prepare reports/ dashboards, make recommendations, and implement effective control measures and procedures to eliminate, or reduce, the risk of recurrences.
f. Share standard methodologies and lessons learned effectively to enable continual improvement.
g. Provide leadership in any interactions with local or regional regulatory agencies.
h. Support ad-hoc assignments and/or responsibilities as assigned by leadership
Coordinate the development, implementation, and application of effective response processes for customer’s EHS requirements:a. Advises incident investigation process using root-cause analyses tools (e.g., Fault Tree Analysis, FMEA) to identify countermeasures and follow to closure.
b. Work with key partners (Operations, Customer Care, HR, Contracts/Legal) to establish balanced methods for ensuring customer EHS qualifications are met and communicated as needed.
c. Review customer EHS requirement documentation and advise on compliance and lead actions to confirm compliance as needed.
d. Develop emergency response process for regional area to minimize risk to field services.
e. Analyze the impact of safety and health compliance on proposed projects.
f. Lead all aspects of and maintain positive relationships with EHS-related vendors and contractors to ensure health & safety procedures are followed.

For This Role, You Will Need :
Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Science, or Engineering
MOM’s registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) preferred.
Expertise in Environmental, Health, Safety laws and regulations
Ability to travel and work in outdoor environments as needed.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to relate to all kinds of people and build relationships based on trust and credibility.
Effective in a variety of communication settings: one-on-one, small and large groups and among diverse styles and position levels
Must be willing and able to collaborate and influence management in different groups such as Operations, Training, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Administrative
Creates strategies and execution plans that show a clear connection between vision and action.
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office® products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
5+ years of experience developing, implementing and maintaining Environmental, Health and Safety programs in oil and gas field operations or chemical industry settings
Proven knowledge of relevant agency and industry standards and practices including but not limited to OSH.
Experience developing and conducting EHS training, policies and procedures.
ISO 14001, 45001, or 9001 EHS Lead Auditor experience or certification preferred.
Demonstrated communication, leadership and influencing skills.
