Shift: Tuesday - Friday; 3rd shift 9:30 PM - 8 AM (4 X 10 hour days)What this job involves - The HVAC Mechanic will perform HVAC and Mechanical preventive maintenance and repairs primarily on controlled temperature units. This will include hands-on work to complete the necessary work within Jones Lang LaSalle standards and guidelines.What is your day to day?Performs senior-level troubleshooting, service, and maintenance on Controlled Temperature Units (CTU), HVAC systems including but not limited to controls, air handlers, BMS, BAS, actuators, pumps, valves, dampers, and motors.Operate and maintain the following systems: heating hot water & steam, ventilation equip., air conditioning, water conditioning - treatment and refrigeration systems.Operate & maintain ancillary systems such as cooling towers, pumps, chillers, etc.Install trouble-shoot maintain & repair air conditioning and refrigeration equipment related piping within the unit and controls. Experience in pneumatic and DDC controls, wiring methods, and instrumentation is requiredWork from CAD drawings, prints, schematics, sketches, or verbal instructionsAdapt and install specialized cooling and or heating devices for specific requirements.Experience with water treatment methods, and procedures for cooling and hot water circulation systems including testing of basic parameter, troubleshooting system problems, and repairing of equipment as needed.Performs installation and replacement of relevant HVAC system components.Performs work on a variety of non-HVAC building systems including FLS, doors, plumbing, and electrical as needed.Maintains good tenant relations through prompt and courteous response to tenant requests within the guidelines set forth by JLL.Requires the ability to analyze the operation of various systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions and take corrective action as required.Requires the ability to work through complicated tasks independently.Assists other mechanics and operators with major maintenance and repairs of building equipment.Contributes and own areas of refrigeration management.Performs all maintenance in a safe manner, following prescribed procedures with a commitment to safety.Assists facility manager in vendor and project management responsibilities.Maintains ethical, professional, courteous relations with customers, contractors, and team members.Acts as a team member with all employees of the management staff.Complies with all written JLL and regional company policiesPerform work outside of the trade to include other duties as assigned by management including but not limited to painting, light bulb replacement, installation of pipe, plumbing and other maintenance related tasks.Required:High school graduate or equivalent, vocation or technical school certification courses in Physics and Refrigeration theory, refrigeration practice, electrical theory and practice, heating, cooling, ventilation.Electronic and pneumatic controls and diagrams.1+ years of experience working as a refrigeration & air conditioning mechanic in an industrial or research environment.1+ years experienced in refrigeration and HVAC practices.Must be capable of working in a team environment, working alone or with other trades outside of your own individual trade.Preferred:Experience working in a GMP environment2-3 years' validated CMMS experienceEPA 608 UniversalWork Environment:Working inside of automated manufacturing distribution centerMay require occasional outside 3rd shift hours work#HVACjobsJLL Is an Equal Opportunity Employer JLL is committed to developing and maintaining a diverse workforce.
