Job Description

　　Insight Global looking for an engineering technician to support the testing of a variety of electrically abusive scenarios for battery packs, cells, and power electronics. The team works with engineering groups across various disciplines in vehicle and stationary energy products requiring effective communication skills. You would be tasked with building test stands, setting up test articles mechanically and electrically to be operated outside of the full product, and running tests. We look for anyone with an exceptional ability to creatively solve problems, take initiative, and a desire to learn.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　-3+ years combined hands-on experience as a Technician in a lab, field, personal projects, or high voltage setting

　　-Experience in high voltage (>48V), flammable materials, hazardous materials, or chemical hazards

　　-Knowledge of electrical circuit fundamentals

　　-Experience handling batteries (can be a mix of residential electrical experience and understanding the complexities of a battery)

　　-Ability to work with basic hand tools -AC/Residential electrical work (electrical wiring, live voltage experience etc.)

　　-Expressed passion to grow and being this area null
