This is a Full-Time 40 Hour Weekly position with the Department of Social Services Human Services Center. For more information on the DSS, please visithttp://dss.sd.gov{target="_blank"}.
Summary:
This position coordinates, conducts, and screens potential admissions to SDHSC primarily for the Substance Use Disorder Program. This will include responding to referral sources, consulting with hospital staff, collecting and analyzing patient records and patient registration. The position works with a multi-disciplinary team and works closely with the psychiatric admissions officer, other admission social workers, and admission nurses.
This position works primarily Monday-Friday 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and will work a holiday rotation in cooperation with all other admission staff.
Licenses and Certifications:
Bachelors degree in social work required
