Position Description: This position isresponsible for the development of specific designs using currenttechnology to meet customer requirements most economically. Thisposition reports to an Application Engineering Supervisor or theApplication & Product Engineering Manager. Key Responsibilities: Designheat exchangers and cooling system modules for assigned customers.Provide technical assistance to the customer\'s engineering personnel.Coordinate the build and ensure the accuracy of prototypes. Specify testrequirements and analyze test results on assigning products to validateperformance and durability of new and revised designs. Ensureunderstanding by plant production and manufacturing personnel of designspecifications. Work closely with other departments and the plant toensure new models are delivered on time and meet all customerrequirements. Monitor feedback from the field and initiate productimprovement when appropriate. Required Qualifications: A basicunderstanding of heat transfer and its application to assigned productsand of the customer\'s product and end use are required. Knowledge ofstructural design, manufacturing processes and computer methods arenecessary.
