The PXT Principal will support a spirited, global team of tech and non-tech professionals dedicated to building and delivering our next generation customer obsessed products. This role will support a mix of tenured Directors and VPs who are experts in their fields and have an relentless drive to continuously improve and drive results.
Key job responsibilities
Own client-specific projects furthering HR strategic initiatives with the objective being to create programs that tackle critical business priorities.
Work with leadership and act as a coach to identify real-time priorities that align to their career growth plan.
Act as the frontline consultant to the business supporting managers in creating a positive employee experience and offering the best HR advice on people matters.
Operate as subject matter experts, provide guidance on programs, processes and policies; and offer strong, credible and compelling advice to business leaders on how to manager their team.
Collaborate with multiple HR Business Partners and HR Specialists who support various businesses.
Act as an influential partner in helping managers with talent management processes, people development and implementation of organizational changes.
Partner with leadership to develop and implement HR plans and solutions to achieve business objectives.
Partner with the global HR community to support global workforce.
A day in the life
A mix of hands-on activities that will review a deep dive into details and data along with working with various teams in the business, central teams and COE partners, while also making progress with long-term strategic projects.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
7-10 years of experience in an HR generalist leadership role, preferably in a high tech environment
Significant experience working with fast-moving, high performance teams and driving innovative solutions tailored to unique business environments
Experience in coaching senior leaders and managers, and strong talent assessment skills
Experience working with global teams, and driving organizational change initiatives and developing talent management plans for a global organization
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Human Resources or related field or MBA
Resilient and able to thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment with a high level of energy
Ability to work independently, as well as an active member of both business and HR teams
Willingness and ability to both be hands on with all levels of the organization as well as serve as a strategic partner to senior leaders
Excellent written and verbal communication; high quality document preparation and presentation skills
Strong business acumen and ability to work well across different functions in order to integrate HR and business strategies
Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy and goals into optimal HR processes that are scalable, simple, customer-focused and adaptable to unique and changing business needs

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $123,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $230,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
