Description Robert Half currently has a first-rate opportunity for a qualified and diligent Human Resources Assistant. The Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for handling a number of different personnel related administrative tasks and will provide clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources related activities, policies, processes, and procedures. This opening is with an organization in the Holyoke, Massachusetts area and is a short-term contract / temporary position.

　　Your responsibilities in this role

　　Update employee database information

　　Oversee office and administrative tasks

　　Develop new employee on-boarding orientation materials

　　Use the internet to search for potential customers Requirements - Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well

　　Approachable and appropriate interacting with staff at all levels in a rapidly changing environment

　　Capable in office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)

　　Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and exercise good judgment and discretion in handling and disseminating information

　　Expertise in Microsoft Excel

　　Strong familiarity with Microsoft Word

　　Customer service experience highly desired

　　Comprehensive knowledge of Human Resources (HR) Administration

　　Foundational knowledge in data entry

　　Eagerness to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and take initiative on variety of tasks and projects
