Located in CO Springs, CO, this center provides comprehensive medical care to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities including but not limited to autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, fragile X, and other genetic conditions. The ideal candidate has an interested in serving this uniquely complex medical population, a high level of disability related cultural competency, and a willingness to think outside the box. The clinic has integrated psychiatric and behavioral health care and a very dedicated and passionate team. Experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities is preferred. Candidate requires an unrestricted CO medical license and active DEA. Average of 11-12 patients per day. We are seeking a:
Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensed for adult and pediatric populations.
Masters level academic preparation, Doctoral degree preferred.
RXN & DEA required. DEAx preferred.
Requires three+ years of clinical experience.
This is a patient facing position. Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus. Compensation (Pay): $130,900 to $160,990.49/ yearly, based on experience. *Other compensation may include signing bonuses, rural differentials, and relocation reimbursement.
