SALARY: \$29.41 Hourly LOCATION: Portland 97203, OR JOB TYPE: Full-TimeRepresented JOB NUMBER: 01845 FLSA: Non-Exempt General Information ThePort of Portland Marine Security Team is responsible for maintaining thesecurity of Terminals 4 and 6. They assist with ensuring compliance withthe Maritime Transportation Security Act and other regulations. OurOfficers monitor and report incidents to safeguard marine terminalproperty against terrorism, fire, theft, vandalism, unauthorized entryand unsafe conditions. This is a union represented position, classifiedas regular unassigned. Hours and shifts vary, but generally average 32hours a week; however, a guaranteed 40-hour work week cannot be ensured.Must be available for all shifts and on short notice 24/7 x 365. Thisposition is FLSA non-exempt, therefore it is eligible for overtimecompensation for hours worked in excess of a 40-hour workweek.
