　　Join a dynamic mechanical engineering team in the heart of Niceville, Florida, where your expertise in rapid prototyping and design for manufacturing will drive innovation and efficiency. We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Designer/Drafter who is ready to develop models from concept design, design mounts, and enclosures for electronics while considering factors such as g-shock and vibration. Your role will involve developing 3D parts for proof of concept, followed by machining parts for final application.

　　Hard Skills

　　Proficient in mechanical engineering practices, especially R&D and prototyping.

　　Strong experience with CAD software such as Creo, SolidWorks, or Inventor.

　　Adept in designing machined parts and design for manufacturability.

　　Department of Defense (DOD) experience is a strong advantage.

　　Soft Skills

　　Exceptional team collaboration and leadership capabilities.

　　Ability to handle a visible role within the organization.

　　Flexibility and adaptability to work in various environments including office, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing areas.

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications

　　While not mandatory, candidates with experience overseeing a mechanical design team will be highly regarded. A minimum of 3-5 years in a designer/drafter role is required.
