Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Business Technology is seeking a Talent HR Generalist teammate that will be responsible for building and maintaining NBTs talent strategy and pipeline while partnering with our 300 operating divisions to ensure top talent is placed within Nucor. A successful candidate will have experience in IT recruitment, streamlining talent initiatives and ability to have a big picture mindset to attract, develop and retain the right talent within a fortune 500 company.
The responsibilities of the Talent HR Generalist role may include but are not limited to:
Candidate management, applicant tracking for professional positions, event logistics and applicant correspondence.
Working with leadership to establish internship/ CO-OP opportunities for Nucor Business Technology.
Expand existing talent channels.
Travels to local and regional recruitment events.
Collaborate with corporate recruiting teams and provide support to all recruitment activities to ensure best practices.
Promote current job openings through alumni communities and other recruitment lanes.
Create Social Media Campaigns to attract talent via various Social Media channels and create processes to maintain regular maintenance on social media platforms.
Assist with developing and analyzing job specifications/requirements for professional positions and coordinate with HR with onboarding processes for candidates.
Ability to manage multiple technologies including but not limited to Office Suite, several social media platforms, HRIS, and job boards.

Leading an IT internship Program
Creating talent pipelines throughout the community and local colleges Implementing talent initiatives such as mentorship programs, talent strategies, employee referral programs, etc.
Travel may be required for this position up to 50%

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in business related field.
2+ years IT recruitment experience.
Experience with recruiting systems such as LinkedIn, SAP, Salesforce
Experience with Social Media Management with Recruiting/Marketing emphasis.
Ability to travel.
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to recruitment or direct work experience as a Recruiter where the candidate may have sourced candidates via outbound calling.
Previous exposure to professional sourcing and selection
Familiar with HRIS systems and tracking
Experience with BI Dashboards to collect and store data.
Professional and driven ability to take initiative with minimal oversight
