Description
Robert Half is partnering with a Manufacturing company in search for an HR Specialist to join their team! You will play a crucial role in supporting the organization's human resources functions, with a specific focus on the unique needs of our manufacturing workforce. You will work closely with employees and management to enhance the overall employee experience, drive talent acquisition, and ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations within the manufacturing sector. This is a temporary to permeant position in Elk River, MN.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting open communication.
Conduct investigations into employee-related issues and provide recommendations for resolution.
Support the implementation and maintenance of performance appraisal systems.
Work with managers to provide guidance on performance improvement plans and employee development initiatives.
Identify training needs and coordinate relevant training programs for manufacturing staff.
Facilitate onboarding processes to ensure new employees integrate seamlessly into the manufacturing environment.
Stay informed about labor laws and regulations specific to the manufacturing industry.
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as legal requirements.
Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with benefit-related inquiries.
Collaborate with external vendors to optimize benefit offerings.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as an HR Specialist, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
In-depth knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and best practices in the manufacturing industry.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office applications.
