About HR Service Senior Specialist

  Mission Statement: Performs the comprehensive HR Service processing related to one or more service lines (Employee Life Cycle, Global Mobility, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, People Analytics and HRIS) for Hitachi Energy Japan employees handling also complex and escalated tasks. Collaborates with business and HR community to provide the solutions from HR Service point of view to support business development and transformation. Ensures appropriate support for internal customers and deliver accurate and timely processing of information with all stakeholders (including Common Shared Service HR Center, Bangalore and Common Shared Service Hub Front Office NEA) and assures that quality controls are carried out.

  Main Accountabilities:

  Service delivery

  Executes and delivers HR Services according to defined Service Level Agreement(s), SOP and Working Instructions. Handles complex/escalated tasks. Supports and coaches others in the team with defined tasks. Ensure all HR Operational processes incorporate appropriate control mechanism, including 4-eye-check / internal control checks, data protection and compliance tasks.

  Support service

  Delivers HR Service support to the HR community, managers and employees. Shows customer service mind-set and a proactive way of working to serve the customers with a "can do" attitude.

  Process optimization

  Identify and proposes the enhancements and simplification of existing processes and procedures based on feedback and experience with customers. Leads some process improvement activities (standardization, harmonization, automation) and participates in various quality control and audit activities. Continues to improve local Working Instructions of each service process to keep it up to date.

  Communication & Training

  Communicates information regarding policies and standards on assigned processes to internal customers as needed. Organizes the trainings related to HR systems and process to managers and employees as needed. Engages the customers to know more about HR Service.

  Transformation Project Support

  Understand the business requirements and provides the solutions from HR Service point of view. Build up the collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and drives the implementation of the transformation from HR Service workstream.

  Data Entry

  Records employee enquiries in an appropriate IT system (ticket tool). Performs data entry into appropriate systems as necessary for assigned HR Service(s). Maintains a high level of data quality and accuracy in the systems. Provides on-demand reports related to the process where required.

  Local Requirements

  Master the comprehensive HR Service knowledge. Focusing on end-to-end process, talent acquisition process support and employee life cycle management. But also have ability to be the backup of Time, Payroll and Benefit management. Ensure a robust framework to enable compliance with all country legal and regulatory requirements. Drive and represent Common Shared Service HR in any internal / external HR Audits

  Required Experiences & Skills

  Must

  8 years and more hands on Employee Service or Payroll experience Including talent acquisition process support, employees onboarding/offboarding management, new hire orientation, social insurance, payroll including expat, year-end tax adjustment and etc.

  English

  Excellent speaking, listening & written in EnglishTOEIC 700 and more or actual working experience in using English

  Preferable

  Workday and SAP experienceWorking experience in multinational companyTransformation project experience
