The expected salary range for this role is $60,000-$70,000/annually, depending on experience.

JOB PURPOSE (JOB SUMMARY):

This is an on-site role that is responsible for the recruiting of all open position at our Omaha plant and cooler facility, developing and implementing recruiting and onboarding strategies compliant with Federal and State Laws and aligned with LALA US overall business goals. This position will carry out responsibilities in functional areas, such as, staffing, employee relations, training, employment, and labor relations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

Manage the hiring process including drafting and posting job openings, scheduling, and assisting with interviews, consulting supervisors on candidate selection and preparing offer letters. Manage drug and background screening process.

Prepare and process new hire paperwork along with conducting new hire orientation.

Participate in Open Houses and Job Fairs.

Resume searching using a variety of search engines.

Familiarity with E-Verify and I-9s.

Manage headcount, turnover. Maintain current job descriptions as positions evolve with management regarding staffing and organizational needs.

Provide guidance and advise new hires on the understanding and rightful interpretation of personnel policies, programs, and procedures.

Ensure employee files to be complete and up to date, both on the HR system (Exponent HR) and on the hard copies for new employees.

Support with employee appreciation, and guidance to employees in general.

Manage the internal job bidding process for our union employees.

Any other function to be assigned by the Human Resources Manager.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

Understanding of the Omaha Plant and NROC CBA (Collective Bargaining Agreement) with all the terms and conditions included on it.

Guarantee compliance with all terms and conditions disclosed on the Omaha Plant and NROC CBA.

Collaborate with the Management team to develop and implement training materials and systems.

SKILLS / OTHER PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

Strong Computer skills including familiarity with online recruiting resources.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in HR or 3+ years progressive recruiting experience in manufacturing environment required.

SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred.

Customer service and time management skills.

Bi-lingual (Spanish-English) is beneficial, but not required.

Schedule flexibility.
