Basic Job Functions:
Nucor IPG - Shelbyville, IN, a division of Nucor Corporation is seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Office Administrator. The office administrator position offers learning and growth opportunities within Nucor and the applicant should have a desire to learn and grow within the company. We are looking for a candidate that has strong people skills with attention to detail. The responsibilities of the office administrator include, but are not limited to, answering phones, greeting visitors, ordering and maintaining office supplies, supporting all other departments as needed, planning and setting up company events, maintain/update employee files on weekly basis, create New Hire files and New Hire Packets and orientation folders for HR, assist with orientation and candidate assessments, act as a backup for HR basic functions and assisting with coordination of teammate recognition initiatives, monthly birthday acknowledgements and assist the Leadership team with any other duties assigned.
This is an on-site position located in Shelbyville, Indiana.
Minimum Qualifications:
3-5 years customer service experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Must have intermediate experience within Microsoft Office Applications
Must be a responsible individual who is a self-starter
Must be detail-oriented
Must be able to work effectively within a team environment
Must be safety-conscious
