About HR & Payroll Coordinator - Denali Park Village

  Job Description

  The HR & Payroll Coordinator provides support to Human Resources and operational managers to complete day to day field HR activities and ensure successful roll out of HR initiative to the business. Support Human Resources management in daily reporting, administration, and other HR functions.

  About Denali National Park:?Summer days are nearly endless in Alaska! Denali Park Village is a highly rated resort located just outside Denali National Park & Preserve nestled on the banks of the Nenana River, just minutes from the park entrance. Open May to September, our guests enjoy comfortable rooms, excellent dining, and live entertainment.?

  6.2 million acres of Denali National Park & Preserve is home to Mount Denali, the highest point in North America. The park welcomes over half a million visitors per year. By road, the area is 5 hours from Anchorage and 2 hours from Fairbanks. Buses traverse the 90-mile road daily throughout the warm summer months, allowing people to hike, view wildlife, climb, and camp.

  Job Responsibilities

  Create and implement internal HR processes and procedures within Aramark guidelines.Maintain compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.Assist with employee motivation, retention, activities and morale programs.Facilitate approximately 250 employee onboarding including training and orientation programsMust possess strong interpersonal and communications skills.Ability to listen to employee concerns and have outstanding analytical problem-solving and interpersonal skills.Support HRM in day-to-day HR functions including recruiting, staffing, hiring, training, development, coaching, incentives, and disciplinary procedures.Assist in processing payroll including reports, housing deductions, discrepancy investigations, auditing and filing.Notifies department managers of employees missed punches and/or errors.Accurately inputs data corrections, tip allocations, tip charges, housing charges, etc.Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned at the discretion of the manager.Follows Aramark policies and procedures and safety and sanitation policies and procedures.Ability to arrive at work on time and dressed professionally.Coordinate with support desks and track and maintain tickets and updates request.

  Qualifications

  ? 1-2 years in Human Resources preferred

  ? Bachelor?s degree or courses in a related degree preferred

  ? Strong interpersonal and planning skills

  ? Strong English verbal/written communication skills

  ? A high level of guest service and an eye for detail

  ? Proficient in Microsoft office programs

  ? Experience taking care of a large employee population preferred
