Description

We are seeking a dedicated HR Manager to assist a high-volume sales company in the central Pennsylvania region. As the HR Manager, you will oversee and supervise a small team HR Generalists. You will ensure effective operation of the HR Department, advising senior management on strategic planning and serving as a link between an organization's management and its employees.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the HR department.

Direct supervision and development of a team of HR Generalists.

Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.

Work collaboratively with department managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.

Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.

Determine and implement appropriate employee training and development programs.

Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards.

Analyze the effectiveness of HR operations and policies.

Prepare and present reports to the higher management.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or related field. Master's degree or HR certification is preferred.

Minimum 5 years of experience in human resources roles with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

Extensive knowledge of HR functions and best practices.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong leadership and people management skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with HRIS or other HR systems.

Excellent decision-making skills with a knack for identifying and resolving problems efficiently
