Description

Robert Half is hiring! We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist within the Boca Raton, Florida area. This position works closely and reports to the Accounting Manager and handles all general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department. The candidate will mainly focus on matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are primary areas of focus.

Major responsibilities:

Full cycle Accounts Payable

Invoice processing using a PO system

Three way match/batch/coding of invoices using a PO system

Performing reconciliations of expense accounts

Assisting with month end closing activities

Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies

Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling

Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them

Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

We are searching for individuals with experience in:

Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)

Match/batch/coding of invoices

Three-way matching using a PO system

1+ years of experience in an A/P role

Competent with spreadsheets and databases

Strong Microsoft Excel skills

Strong attention to detail

Working knowledge of ERP accounting software is preferred, not required
