About HR Business Partner

  We are looking for an HR Business Partner to join our Lumber Mill located in Idabel, OK. This position reports to the Mid-South Lumber Human Resources Business Lead with strong dotted-line responsibility to the Mill Manager. As a strategic partner, the Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the human resources systems at the Idabel operations. This position focuses on meeting business performance objectives through effective HR planning, development, coaching, and problem solving.

  Key Functions:

  Serve as a member of the lead team promoting the safety and well-being of all the associates in the manufacturing facilityProviding direct HR support and consultationRole model Weyerhaeuser Key Values including Safety, Integrity, Citizenship, Sustainability, and InclusionStrategic business partner to the Idabel leadership team as well as the broader HR teamProvide top-quality coaching, consultations, and solutions in all areas of HR, including employee relations, talent management, and leadership trainingWork closely with management and the employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retentionPartner with site leaders to develop strategic workforce plans to meet current and future talent needsPartner with local community high schools, colleges, and universities to create pipelines of future talentAdminister and provide guidance on compensation review/planning and performance management processesPartner with leaders to develop and implement diversity and inclusion strategiesResponsible for salaried and hourly staffing functions (including sourcing, recruiting, retention, and on-boarding process)Promote and encourage innovative thoughts and ideasAnalyze trends and metrics to develop solutions and programsEnsure site compliance with state and federal lawsParticipate in business-wide HR initiatives and continuous improvement projectsOur Investment in You:

  At least three (3) years of previous HR leadership experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment

  High degree of integrity and strong work ethicAbility to communicate clearly, concisely and crediblyStrong computer skills and proficiency in HR systemsResults oriented; sense of urgency in responding to business needs, with high degree of accuracy and attention to detailSelf-starting individual who possesses resiliency and adaptability to solve problemsAbility to discern priorities and remain organized as business needs evolveCritical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and possesses the courage to interveneActs with urgency. Strives for simplicity and exercises sound judgementExcellent planning and organizational skills, including project and time managementAbility to thrive in an office and manufacturing environmentAbility to travel 10% of the time to other locations, including some overnight travel and flow to work as neededPreferred Qualifications

  Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Human Resources or related fieldsPHR or HR CertificationLocation:

  This role will be on-site at the Idabel lumber mill in Idabel, OK.
