Our work environment includes: Modern office setting Growth opportunities As a housing coordinator the goal is to help a person prioritize and execute their housing needs in an effective and efficient manner. A Housing Coordinator is responsible for working directly with clients in their search to obtain or maintain housing in the community of their choice. You will work with individuals to plan, Identify barriers, search housing options and obtain housing. All while networking, building relationships with property managers and community resources. Duties/Responsibilities: Search/apply for available & low-income housing options tailored to client needs and desirable location Helping the person understand and develop a budget, negotiate a lease, housing support and crisis planning. Helping a person organize their move, find funding for deposits or home goods Complete detailed new client Housing Intakes as assigned Respond to company emails and phone calls within one business day Arranging for assistive technology and adaptive house related accommodations Assistance with housing recertification processes Advocating with community resources to prevent eviction when housing is at risk and maintain person s safety Educating and training on roles, rights and responsibilities if the tenant and property management Contribute/maintain organization of Client files and Client Resource folder Document client s activity log & housing application logs/submissions weekly Submit record of time reporting (timesheets) & time management (activity/housing logs) weekly to HR personnel Perform other duties as assigned Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer Traveling with or for clients in regards to housing stabilization services Organizing a move, obtaining supplies, resources, etc Maintain valid driver's license and safe driving record
