　　About the Position

　　Position is primarily responsible for assisting the Director of Environmental Services in monitoring departmental activities and ensuring apartments and facilities are clean and attractive.

　　Pay Rate is $20.75/hr and the hours are 8am-4pm

　　Job Duties

　　Monitor Cleanliness of exercise aerobic center weekly, beauty salon, common spaces, offices, and public restrooms weekly. Cleans main lobby, Tower entrance, Small House entrance and parking garage entrance

　　Assist as need with cleaning of apartments when there are any staff shortages to ensure the community is covered

　　Assists with supervising, ensuring apartments and facilities are clean and sanitized according to department procedures.

　　Monitors for and ensures safety measures and proper handling procedures are followed in the use of hazardous chemicals and cleaning solutions.

　　Check, restock and replace pool towels

　　Delivers exterminator slips to residents.

　　Assists in setting up rooms for special events and activities by ensuring rooms are clean and Furniture is arranged properly prior to the event; cleans rooms after events and arranges furniture properly as needed.

　　Monitors housekeeping logs for barriers reported, trouble shoots for solution, and promptly informs supervisor of any discrepancies.

　　Responsible for daily stocking of supply carts. Ensures adequate availability of supplies needed, and that the cart is clean and organized.

　　Trains new employees in proper department procedures; identifies areas needing attention, redirection, training and / or repair for all ES staff.

　　Job Requirements

　　High School Diploma or equivalent.

　　Must have at least 2 years of housekeeping supervisory experience preferable in a healthcare environment.

　　Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, bilingual a plus.

　　Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with others.
