  Description:

  Come join the Environmental Services team at Mt. Sinai Rehab Hospital, part of Trinity Health Of New England! We are a member of the nationwide Trinity Health family, bringing compassionate care to our communities.

  Position Purpose:

  The Housekeeping Aide I is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe health care environment by daily cleaning and supplying of patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, bathrooms, offices, departments, and other assigned areas.

  What you will do:

  Perform required cleaning and housekeeper functions in assigned area.

  Execute proper cleaning procedures and demonstrates efficient, cost effective and safe use of housekeeping equipment.

  Perform other special housekeeping and Environmental Services assignments in a team environment.

  Distribute clean linen to all departments following established par levels.

  Collect soiled linen from all departments.

  Minimum Qualifications :

  Education: 2 years of high school preferred, but not required.

  Experience: Housekeeping experience preferred, but not required.

  Skills: Ability to retain on-job training. Must be able to read, written instructions in English and comprehend verbal instructions in English.
