About eMobility Senior Business Relationship Manager

Eaton’s Corporate Information Technology team is looking for a Senior Business Relationship Manager (BRM) to support our eMobility business. The preferred location for this position is Southfield, MI, but Beachwood, OH, or another one of our major IT hubs in the US, including Moon Township, PA, Raleigh, NC, Menomonee Falls, WI, Galesburg, MI, Houston, TX, or a remote setting could be considered. Up to 25% travel is required if not based in Southfield. If based in Southfield, travel will be around 10%. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

What you’ll do:

As the primary point of contact for a subset of IT services and strategic projects pertaining to our global eMobility business, this role identifies opportunities, builds consensus across the customer base and IT, and develops business cases to secure funding, spanning multiple business functions. It ensures that project scopes are well-defined for transition to delivery and that all stakeholders are engaged, projects are completed, and return on investment is realized.

In this role, you will:

• Act as a customer advocate and ensure IT alignment with customer strategy

• Ensure that principles are aligned with Eaton IT values and eliminate projects that do not align with IT strategy of are an ineffective use of resources

• Align directionally with the eMobility global business, including the President of eMobility, leaders of Power Connections, Power Distribution Protection, and Low Voltage Power Conversion Global Product lines.

• Ensure solutions aligned with and supports architecture standards. Partner with architecture team if no standard exists

• Serve as a trusted advisor and introduce AI and innovative solutions

• Review escalated issues for scope and clarity, vetting, documenting, and routing through appropriate support mechanisms.

• Assure the delivery of medium and large-sized initiatives leveraging the value chains.

• Ensure effective support for existing systems and processes.

• Deliver significant projects effectively and reliably to meet strategic business objectives, acting as DGC members.

• Demonstrate financial acumen through CAR preparation, budget management, and profit planning.

• Manage vendor relationships including contract negotiations and reviews.

• Manage complex process and organizational change management.

• Participate as a member of IT Strat Plan councils.

• At times you may manage OCMs team of business process experts for large-scale projects.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.

• 10+ years of experience in business relationship management, IT Application management, or a related field.

• Minimum 2+ years ERP and Manufacturing application experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience within the automotive space preferred; experience in EV space a plus.

• MBA or other Advanced degree from an accredited institution.

• Experience leading projects in a global/multinational setting.

• Comfortability within SAP/ERPs including navigating implementations and upgrades

Skills:

• Advanced understanding of IT industry trends and applicability to operations.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

• High level of adaptability and resilience in the face of change.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $153749.97 - $225499.96 a year. This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
