　　The University of Chicago\'s Department of Medicine, Section of HospitalMedicine, seeks to provide internists training in hospital medicineresearch, medical education, quality improvement or global health whileappointed as 70% effort Clinical Associates. The appointees will managepatients with complex sub-specialty needs, which will involve night andweekend coverage. These positions do not require teaching or scholarlyactivity. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits)is dependent on qualifications.

　　Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have amedical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medicallicensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be Board certified oreligible in Internal or Hospital Medicine.
