  *The Headlines:   *

  In the role of * Maintenance Tech 1 – Inspection Equipment* working in Wheat Ridge, CO, you will maintain efficiency and reliability of all glass manufacturing quality inspection equipment through detailed set-up and sensitivity adjustments. This role ensures challenge samples are rejected and all other quality parameters are met. Requires troubleshooting of mechanical, minor electrical components, including a variety of optical gauging equipment. Implements corrective actions and communicating these to those impacted by their efforts, including Line Leads, co-workers, and other departments, while also ensuring proper documentation standards and adhering to all standard operating procedures.

  This position reports to the Line Lead.

  The Responsibilities:  

  Monitors equipment performance, analyzing and tracking discrepancies and intervening with action plans to ensure quality assurance to customer and consumer while preventing product loss. Provides accurate shift records and reports, and review of line information for analysis, trend identification and initiates preventative measures relative to repeat problems.

  Reviews shop performance, interfaces with Line Lead(s) and other team members to ensure maximum shop efficiency and performance.

  Creates work orders in collaboration with area support personnel to address items of safety, quality, productivity and GMP.

  Provides planning input and support for job changes, autonomous/preventative maintenance, and other planned events.

  Participates in shift change meetings to provide relevant information to on-coming shift and receive information from off-going shift. Shares information received with appropriate department personnel.

  Must exhibit self-motivation and direction abilities, while taking accountability for results and actions.

  *The Other Qualifications: *

  High school diploma or GED required, Associates Degree preferred

  Must be a minimum of 21 years of age

  Minimum 2 years in Mechanical/Industrial manufacturing or related production environment

  High mechanical aptitude
