　　Title: Senior Design Engineer (NX12)

　　Position summary:

　　Reporting to the Engineering Team Leader, the Senior Design Engineer will be responsible to develop technical capability of BOM cost reduction engineering solutions for Aerospace heat exchangers

　　The Senior Design Engineer will be a strong technical individual who can deliver complex technical solutions and work in collaboration in a strong engineering team environment.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Responsible for the Engineering functional capability .

　　Product Development / New Product Design Introduction

　　Product support

　　Configuration Management

　　Responsible for the delivery of engineering across projects and components (specially aerospace heat exchangers), meeting or exceeding safety, leadtime, cost, quality and technical specifications/requirements

　　B.O.M Cost reduction

　　Provide technical Assistance

　　Mentor, coach and train the team for best practice

　　Lead design reviews

　　Check and validate design activities and deliverables through the product life cycle

　　Promote a culture of high performance, continuous improvement and innovation

　　Defining and applying the adequate processes and methods for product design, and ensuring process compliance, including:

　　Requirements management

　　Change and Configuration management

　　Design optimization

　　Expertise in CAD tools (NX), PLM (Teamcenter)

　　Lean transformation

　　Design for manufacturing

　　Design validation

　　Knowledge management (lessons learnt, design guides)

　　Minimum Requirements:

　　10+ Years Experience

　　Demonstrated technical Experience of B.O.M cost reduction.

　　Demonstrated expertise in delivering complex design solutions

　　Expertise in the design and definition process of complex products through the product life cycle

　　Expertise in CAD tools (ideally NX) and PLM (Teamcenter)

　　Preferably experienced in heat exchangers, Ozone convertors and fluid management systems

　　Excellent communication and reporting skills at all levels

　　This position may involve access to export controlled information and hardware where an export license would be required for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Employment will be subject to satisfactory security checks, export license approval, and if required, completion of a non-disclosure agreement .
