The Hospital Services Technicianwill travel to customer healthcare facilities providing collection andexchange waste containers for various Stericycle programs. Thisincludes, but not limited to: Sharps Management Service, PharmaceuticalWaste, Controlled Substance and Document Management. This service isprovided at regularly scheduled intervals for assigned facilities. Fillsin for other Team Members who are on vacation, sick leave and may beasked to assist Supervisors as needed. Key Job Activities: Travelsbetween customer healthcare facilities to proactively monitor, collect,and exchange waste containers for various Stericycle programs andservices, including but not limited to: Sharps Management Service,Pharmaceutical Waste, Controlled Substance and Document Management. 70%Interacts professionally with onsite customer staff to ensure serviceexpectations are met or exceeded. 10% Maintains a rigid collection andservice schedule. 10% Communicates duty status on a defined scheduled.5% Performs other related duties as required or requested. 5% Education:Required Education: in High School or Equivalent Experience (NorthAmerica & LATAM): Required Years of Experience (North America only): 2+years Preferred Experience: Good knowledge & understanding ForManagement jobs, years of management experience preferred: NoneEducation equivalent to graduation from high school, or GED. 2+ years ofrelated experience, customer service preferred, or the equivalent inrelated work experience, Demonstrate strong communication skills andtact in providing superior customer service in a variety of settings andsituations. May require mandatory immunizations and credentialing basedon customer requirements. Must possess a valid driver\'s license. Mustpossess reliable transportation to travel between customer facilities.Ability to work independently and with little supervision.
