Primary Duties & Responsibilities Analyze income tax recordsand returns of individuals and flow through businesses to identityplanning opportunities. Partner with other highly-credentialedprofessionals on the team and NM advisors to deliver planning strategiesand solution recommendations for clients. Stay current on income taxlaws/regulations and tax planning trends. Consult with attorneys andaccountants to implement strategies and solve complex planning issues onbehalf of clients Research and analyze tax issues to assist NM advisorsDeliver tax and financial projections for use in planning engagementsServe as a thought leader on income tax related topics Qualifications:Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting Master\'s degree in Accountingpreferred. Active CPA license. Minimum of 7 tyears relevant individualincome tax experience with a national, regional or local accountingfirm, family office or financial services company. Trust and estate taxexperience is preferred. Client centric verbal and written communicationskills with emphasis on ability to articulate complex information in anunderstandable way Experience in high-net-worth individuals Familiaritywith income tax planning software and tools Strong verbal and writtencommunication skills with the ability to articulate complex informationand tax law Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to workon a team Compensation Range: Pay Range - Start: \$110,040.00 PayRange - End: \$204,360.00 Northwestern Mutual pays on ageographic-specific salary structure and placement in the salary rangefor this position will be determined by a number of factors includingthe skills, education, training, credentials and experience of thecandidate; the scope, complexity as well as the cost of labor in themarket; and other conditions of employment.
