Extensive Experience within Helpdesk/Desktop Support space- taking calls from end users and providing top quality customer service on the initial first call - great communication skills, interactive with end user, able to stay on the phone until the issue is resolved. Experience supporting Microsoft shop - Windows 7, 10, Office 365, Microsoft Suite - troubleshooting, configuring, a part of a migration from one version to another
Hands On Asset Inventory and Imaging new Laptops - imaging software (Ghost or Microsoft System Center) - setting up PCs and being able to move 1 computer from 1 domain to the other and pushing out upgrades. Being able to take a computer out of the the box and rebooting for setup.
Networking Connectivity - Understanding and experience with IPV4 and working knowledge of DHCP concepts and VLAN setups
Must have hands-on experience working face-to-face with users - this is a fast-paced environment
Job Description
This position is apart of the Helpdesk/Desktop Support for all internal users for our client's corporate office. This is a help desk role that will provide troubleshooting and IT support for over 2,500+ users.
The day consists of fielding calls & walk ins from end users (30% of the day) and troubleshooting (40% of the day) issues within desktops, computers, PCs, mobile devices all within Microsoft and Windows and then 20% documenting issues within the queue and providing notifications and updates to the end users. The remainder 10% of the day is spent coordinating with the other teams (Domain Services team and Storage/Server team and Network Services team on any remaining issues).
• Support Windows 7 Pro, 8.1 and Mac OSX Maverick / Yosemite laptops, monitors, and computers
• Support local and network HP printer/ copier / scanners
• Configure mobile devices like iPads, iPhones, Surfaces and Droids
• Use Adobe Connect to Set up meetings between offices and clients
• Image and Configure new and reissue laptops / desktops using SCCM / Symantec Ghost
