JOB REQUIREMENTS: PURPOSE OF POSITION Operate various pieces ofequipment within food production facility. Duties include proper machineset-up, monitoring quality and speed, housekeeping, and sanitation.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Generally, includesresponsibility for operating one or more pieces of packaging productionequipment, including Texwrap, ADCO, and Tiromat. Duties includesufficient visual acuity to set up machinery and to monitor machineoperation and flow; must have manual dexterity to move safely in an areaof automated equipment; must have manual dexterity to accommodatemachine adjustments, and feeding of supplies/ingredients. REQUIREDKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Follows all company safety policies andprocedures including wears personal protective equipment as requiredand/or provided by the company (e.g. gloves, goggles, etc); followsproper lock out tag out procedures. Keeps equipment and area cleanduring production run; is alert to slip-trip-fall hazards in area, takesany required action to eliminate/minimize the potential accidents.Relevant experience within a high-speed manufacturing environment, foodmanufacturing is a plus. Need to be able to read an HMI. Ability to readand comprehend simple instructions, production schedules andcorrespondence. Ability to prioritize work activities in accordance toscheduled operating precedence (SOC, SOP). Ability to write standarddocumentation. Ability to effectively communicate information with otheremployees of the organization (Line and Area Leads, Supervisors,Quality, etc.). Prior experience operating conveyors, cartoners, wrapping andlabeling equipment.
