JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Description: General Purpose of Work. Performs,under a minimum of general supervision, various installation,inspection, security, and maintenance functions on various types ofequipment and structures associated with Company facilities. GeneralDuties. Installs, inspects, and maintains lighting systems and makesminor repairs. Performs lock-up, opening, and activities associated withphysical security at Company facilities. Moves, repairs, and assemblesworkstation and office-related furnishings and equipment. Performsmaintenance on small grounds equipment, HVAC equipment, and plumbingsystems. Maintains refrigeration equipment as well as computer room airhandlers. Maintains electrical components including replacement ofcontacts, fuses and breakers, and data and telephone cable installation.Performs inventory control and has decision-making responsibility inrelation to completion of job assignments. Performs building maintenanceactivities, including caulking, door hardware, and locking systems.Performs snow removal and groundskeeping activities. Tests fire systemsand tests and performs limited preventive maintenance to emergencygenerators and assists in programming the Building Automation System.Performs occasional housekeeping and cleaning. Provides assistance tocontractors as assigned. Subject to \"on call\" scheduling. Performsdriver maintenance on and operates Company vehicles and equipment. Maybe assigned duties at MAGAEL facilities. Performs other incidental andrelated duties. Qualifications. Two years\' experience in a MaintenanceTechnician III position. Must be highly skilled and have four years offormal training or equivalent work experience including, but not limitedto facility maintenance of HVAC equipment, HVAC controls, the repair ofstructural items, electrical system diagnostic ability, and plumbingsystems; or in a specific facilities-related trade. In lieu ofprogression from Maintenance Technician III position, must possess theaforementioned experience and hold a Journeyworker credential, license,or certification. Must have demonstrated satisfactory aptitude andlearning ability. Must be trained and skilled in use of specializedtroubleshooting equipment to verify proper operation. Must have theability to communicate readily and understandably in person or by phonewith all levels of employees of the Company. Must be reasonablyavailable for overtime and emergency work assignments. Must display goodrelationships with fellow employees, customers, and contractors. Mustlearn and practice all safety rules which apply to employee\'s work.Should have and keep a valid Wisconsin driver\'s license. Knowledge andSkills to be Acquired.
