Position We are looking forHeat Treat Equipment Operators to produce world class fasteners for OMGusing safe machine operating techniques and effective lean manufacturingprinciples. We currently have openings on Day and Night Shifts.Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Equipment Operator must be a teamplayer and committed to delivering only the best quality to ourcustomers! Responsibilities Sets up machine, observes operation, andinspects first run and sample work piece to ensure machining conforms tospecifications. Reads blueprint or job order for product and jobspecifications such as wire type, dimensions, tolerances and number ofparts to be run. Selects, enters and adjusts specified heat treatrecipes to conform to production run sheet and feed rates. Performsroutine lubrication and preventative maintenance inspections asrequired. Observes all safety rules. Performs routine and preventativemachine maintenance. Assists other machine operators to set up machine,and stack, mark, pack, and transport finished work pieces. Maintains aneat and well-organized work area. Other duties as directed by ShiftSupervisor or Group Leader. Requirements High school diploma orequivalent. Experience in heat treat or furnace operation preferred.Capable of using standard tools and measurement devices such as hardnesstesters. Ability to interpret safety instructions, job orders,blueprints, quality specifications, temperature controls and flowcontrols. Good written and verbal communication skills. Strong math andmechanical reasoning skills. Ability to contribute as part of a team.Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands tofinger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with handsand arms, climb or balance; and regularly lift and/or move up to 50pounds. Good close vision and depth perception skills. Positiveattitude, good judgment and excellent time management skills. Strongsense of responsibility and ownership! Salary Range \$23/hour with a 20%shift differential
