DescriptionMaintains clinical equipment through the effective use of the Medical Equipment Management Plan. Performs a variety of routine tasks associated with the installation, maintenance, calibration and repair of a complex medical equipment technologies and systems under minimal supervision of healthcare technology management (HTM) Supervisor and/or senior professionals.Assesses, monitors, and functionalizes inventory management processes to ensure locations business data attributes, and detail associated to operational and safety management.Repairs and maintains a wide variety of general medical equipment to include high risk and critical care biomedical equipment.Performs scheduled and nonscheduled PM checks on general biomedical equipment to include high risk and critical care biomedical equipment.Central monitoring, Gas modules, OR equipment,,ETC.Assist Department in the Capital planning process. Provide intermediate level technical support to clinical staff. Provide technical assistance and support to HTM I.Intermediate knowledge of cyber security risk and requirements.Documents all activities as outlined within UH policies and procedure.Other duties as assigned to achieve HTM goals and objectives. AAMI - ACI certification preferred (CBET/CLES), not required. 3-5 years of biomedical equipment services experience.
