JOB REQUIREMENTS: Duties The Health System Specialist/Data Analystconducts analysis of the health care systems and contractor networkdata, as well as data provided to VA by external agencies regarding careof Veterans, that will be used for management of the design,development, implementation, modification, and maintenance of healthcare business solutions for Veterans.Major Duties Include: Interfaceswith Program Offices, data sources, VHA field activities and Veterans toobtain and disseminate information. Obtains, analyzes and modelsclinical, financial and other data for use VHA-wide in caring for agingVeterans. Serves as SME in development, dissemination and tracking ofGEC Performance Measures. Works with stakeholders, SMEs and end-users toanalyze, develop or educate on GEC programs. Plans data strategies,identifies data sources, and monitors performance. Manages data fordashboards, analyzes results and prepares/presents reports toleadership. Develops queries using programming languages such as SQL,SAS, Python, or R to extract data and run statistical analyses.
