　　About the job:

　　Health Information Specialist performs a variety of activities to ensure documentation in electronic health record meets compliance and regulatory expectations.

　　Requirements:

　　Education: High School diploma or equivalent is required.

　　Experience: Previous office experience and/or document imaging system experience preferred.

　　Effective Communication Skills

　　Proficient in the use of a computer, including 10 key data entry, data entry and office automation applications required.

　　Ability to operate & maintain office equipment (e.g. scanner, fax, copier, printer, microfiche reader), required.

　　Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy, and attention to detail.
