MAIN ACTIVITIES
Test, and develop board-level analog and digital electronic assemblies.
Applying principles of electronics, electrical circuitry, engineering mathematics.
Coordinate with cross functional groups including test department and manufacturing
Communicate with global teams in reporting project status and technical information
Support technical audits and/or CM builds
Develop electrical systems for electronic tool controls
Utilize available resources effectively
Expected to utilize lab test equipment such as oscilloscope, power supply and electronic load to conduct testing.
Troubleshoot and determine root cause analysis on electronic assemblies.
Active player on design and development of Electronics circuits, including product definition, parts selection and qualification
REQUIREMENTS
Education required:
BS EE/ME from an accredited institution.
Proficient in English and Spanish.
Work experience required:
2-5 years of experience required of relevant experience as Electrical/Electronics Design Engineer.
Knowledge of Product Development life cycle
Knowledge in power electronics and heat dissipation methods.
Skills required:
Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals.
Working knowledge of electrical/control systems and motors
Understanding of power tools, motor drives, controllers, and general mechanical principles.
Must have experience with surface mount soldering, electronics prototyping, and basic failure analysis
Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel spreadsheets
Experience in Altium or similar schematic CAD desirable.
Pspice modeling desirable.
Effective Communication skills.
Knowledge of electronic manufacturing process
Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
