  F-35 Production continues to ramp up and the fielded fleet continues to grow. The F-35 Special Tooling and Test Equipment (STATE) team is responsible for the procurement and management of all Special Tooling (ST) and Special Test Equipment (STE) required to achieve F-35 enterprise capacity in support of both Production and Sustainment demands. In support of this charter, STATE is looking for a driven project manager to manage ST/STE for one or more F-35 systems and suppliers. This role will be expected to learn and understand the manufacturing processes for their suppliers, be able to assess and communicate ST/STE needs to the Customer, and serve as the STATE point of contact for every part of the ST/STE procurement lifecycle, and internal team integrator including proposals, contract execution, contract closure, and more.

  Basic Qualifications:

  Proficient with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  Master's degree from an accredited university, degree in Systems Engineering, Project Engineering, or other related discipline.

  Understanding of project management.

  Desired Skills:

  Strong communication skills (written/verbal) preferred, as position requires interfacing with internal and external customers to report technical, and scheduling status.

  Experience working in teams and interfacing with external customers, and experience in project management skill sets desired.

  Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

  Clearance Level: Secret

  Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

  Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

  Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
