This employment opportunity with Lockheed Martin includes on the job mentorship by some of the brightest engineers in the defense industry who will challenge you to grow your skills in computer systems, hardware, software and networking. DevOps assistance needed to stand-up and maintain integrated software environments used to develop, integrate, test and deploy mission critical military systems in a lab setting. The successful candidate will be working under direction of a lead engineer to advance development environments that enable Anti-Submarine Warfare systems vital to our nation's defense. Successful applicants will join a team that currently develops, delivers, and operates fully integrated solutions for military users across the globe. Candidates that have a strong desire to engage, and understand the fundamentals of engineering are highly encouraged to apply.

  Basic Qualifications:

  Positive attitude and a willingness to learn a variety of

  new skills & tools

  Excels in both team & individual work

  Good working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft

  Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

  Experience with programming or scripting language (e.g., Java, C, C++, Bash, Python)

  Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

  Desired Skills:

  Linux experience (terminal, shell scripting, etc.)

  Experience with software installation and testing

  High School course work or lab experience in one or

  more of the following is highly desirable: design,

  software, robotics or other competition teams related

  to engineering projects.

  Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

  Clearance Level: Secret

  Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

  Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

  Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
