JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Details Job Location Ocnwc - Oconomowoc, WIPosition Type Full Time Job Shift 1st shift (M-F 7a-3:30p) DescriptionJOB SUMMARY: Performs semi-automatic/automatic Gas Tungsten Arc Welding(GTAW) operations on a line of standard and repetitive parts. ESSENTIALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Works from sketches, routings, and processcontrol sheets to understand dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces, sequence of operations, and setup requirements. Dimensional andalignment requirements are liberal or controlled by fixtures. Performssemi-automatic/automatic GTAW operations on similar and dissimilarmetals, usually in flat position requiring limited technique and basicwelding fundamentals. Certifies to groove weld on 0.032 thick StainlessSteel, Nickel Alloy, and Cobalt Alloy material (17-4PH, Inconel 718,Haynes 188) per AWS D17.1 Class A. Completes sheet metal grinding,forming, and fitting operations as needed. Visually inspects allweldments; identifies potential indications; and sufficiently repairsand reports defects. Demonstrates familiarity with welding symbols,terms, and definitions per AWS A2.4 and AWS A3.0. In coordination withMaintenance Department, performs preventive maintenance on weldingequipment. Proceeds under direct supervision. Demonstrates thoroughknowledge of and conformity with Quality System work instructionrequirements that govern GTAW operations. Maintains or exceedsproduction standards through efficient organization and planning.Supports and complies with safety policies and procedures. Accuratelycompletes all required documentation. Meets attendance policyrequirements. Contributes to team effort by assisting in areas asneeded.
