Our Graphic Designer - Freelance will join the content team in the planning and execution of content across Tennis Channel, Tennis Channel International, Tennis.com and Pickleballtv.com websites, mobile apps, social media, and FAST channels. They will maintain our brand across platforms and support the greater team with any graphic needs. The successful candidate must possess excellent leadership skills, be highly organized, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position requires someone who will thrive in an environment that embraces constant innovation, collaboration, and strong judgement for news and social happenings.

This position is full-time freelance and may require work on nights and weekends. The ideal candidate will work a hybrid schedule, both in our Santa Monica office and at home. The Graphics Designer role will be ongoing with monthly assignments, with the possibility of future permanent placement.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Create graphics for all of Tennis Channel, Tennis Channel International, Tennis.com, Pickleballtv.com products and social media platforms (static graphics, GIFs, social content, promotional graphics, video thumbnails, etc.)

Create templates and support content producers with any graphic needs

Build original motion graphics (opens, lower thirds, slates, tags bumpers, etc.)

Ideate and create new assets that will improve the user experience

Collaborate with other team members to design graphic and text elements for videos

Coordinate and deliver high quality images to all platforms that are sized correctly and consistent across channels

Prioritize projects to meet multiple and simultaneous deadlines

Maintain high standards while balancing other job-related duties and projects

Required Qualifications :

7+ years of experience designing at an entertainment/media company or digital agency

Comprehensive knowledge of design software (Adobe Illustrator, PhotoShop, After Effects)

An interest in internet culture, social media, and trending news items

Process driven and hyper-focused on organization and detail

Ability to react quickly and positively under pressure

Highly organized and experience handling multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment

Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays around the tennis calendar

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Communication Arts, or a similar field is a plus but not required

The base pay range for this role is $67,000 to $75,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
