If you are interested in being on a team that builds supercomputers and enables data scientists and their research, the HPC AI Solution Architect's team is looking for a Graduate Intern - HPC AI Solution Architect to join them.
Our solutions are being used today to solve some of the world's most challenging scientific problems such as bio-medical research, climate research, genome analysis, renewable energy - all which require the world's fastest supercomputers to tackle. Intel needs your help to deliver the next generation in high performance HPC and AI super computing systems and technology.
We are working with new technologies on our latest project, and a large part of your responsibilities will include the following:
Roles and Responsibilities:
Investigating the AI workloads performance of a variety of hardware platforms.Evaluating the latest AI software features.Clearly communicate with, and present, technical, and non-technical information to a variety of audiences.Collaboration skills and the willingness to work in a globally distributed team environment.
Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a nonexempt technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Pursuing Masters degree or PhD degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or 3+ months experience in one or more of the following:
Deep learning-based application solutionsHigh Performance Computing (HPC) environmentShell scripts and the GNU/LLVM tool chains on LinuxPython/C++ programmingPerformance analysis techniques, using modern toolsTroubleshooting performance issuesFamiliarity with operating systems, computer architecture

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
