HealthPartners is currently hiring for a Government Programs Coordinator. This position is responsible for coordinating the regulatory review of materials and regulatory communication across Government Program products (Medicare and Medicaid). The coordinator serves as the lead for health plan member and marketing communications and is accountable for ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements, and program policies and standards. In partnership with subject matter experts, the coordinator is also responsible for regulatory communications with business partners. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Two years of experience working in healthcare or highly regulated business environment. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet established deadlines. Ability to work independently within a team environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to present and explain complex information clearly. Effective project management experience. Ability to establish and maintain strong collaborative working relationships with peers and management at all levels of the organization. Ability to self-motivate, take initiative, and engage in critical thinking. Strong organizational skills. Good follow through, attention to detail and critical thinking skills Preferred Qualifications: Regulatory guidance and interpretation experience. Hours/Location: M-F; Days Will primarily work remote but will need to intermittently visit the Bloomington office for occasional meetings. Accountabilities: Responsible for the day-to-day coordination of key activities and ensuring the programs operate effectively and efficiently. Identify and resolve operational issues pertaining to the programs and projects. Serve as the subject matter expert on state and/or federal requirements and is accountable for ensuring compliance with program policy and standards. Evaluate and interpret new and existing state and/or federal regulations and sub-regulatory requirements. Work collaboratively with business areas on implementation of new requirements. For materials: Coordinate all incoming materials for review and complete the regulatory review. Materials include plan coverage documents, advertisements, promotional materials, and operational communications. Ensure all materials reflect accurate product information and meet regulatory requirements. Submit materials to regulatory agencies for approval, as applicable, track timelines and work with business partners to address any questions and/or changes needed. Collaborate with business partners during the material development process and provide consultation on regulatory requirements. Create and maintain internal tools and resources to support material creation and review. Maintain centralized internal system for material reviews and provide training to business areas. For regulatory communications: Coordinate and maintain the process for documenting all incoming regulatory communications for Government Programs, including but not limited to CMS memos, DHS bulletins, Compliance Officer emails, and communications from trade associations. Track due dates and closure of regulatory communications. Follow up with Government Programs and business partners as needed to ensure timely responses. Maintain the centralized internal system for regulatory communications and provide training to business areas. Coordinate and maintain employee access to required systems and SharePoint sites. Manage multiple projects at any given time and identify potential competing priorities. Maintain knowledge of regulations impacting Government Programs. Provide feedback on proposed federal and state statutes, regulations, and agency guidance in partnership with Government Programs leadership and Government Relations.
