Government Contracts Inquiry Analyst
EWINGS seeks to connect with potential candidates for a potential upcoming project.
The Government Contracts Inquiry Analyst will support senior analysts with most aspects of the client team supporting the government inquiry process which includes government contracts as assigned . The Analyst will work under the direction of the Government Relations Department Manager. The Analyst will be responsible for validating appropriate legal documentation is on file to ensure Protected Identifiable Information (PII) or Protected Health Information (PHI) is appropriately secure. The Analyst will support the manager and senior analyst with all administrative related functions in processing a case and additional duties as assigned which may include sending research to internal subject matter experts across government programs. The Analyst will support with accurately documenting all key performance markers utilized by the government payer to monitor the client’s contract performance. Work instructions and other source of truth documents are used to ensure the proper processes were followed, and accurate and complete information is provided.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage a high volume of inquiries through an efficient and effective response development process.
Screen and prioritize incoming inquiries to ensure timely response.
Ensure appropriate legal documentation is on file.
Correctly use all tools/resources for evaluation of government correspondence.
Determine appropriate next steps to obtain resolution.
Execute established processes to obtain input from internal subject matter experts for responses.
Ensure correspondence-related contract requirements are met.
Support maintenance of all case files.
Work independently.
Outstanding communicator in all forms.
Recognize trends and assist with possible preventative action.
Identify , communicate, and implement opportunities for improving internal processes within the Government Relations Department.
Other activities as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED and 3+ years of related experience or BA/BS degree (and/or equivalent) in related field
2+ year of claim or appeal processing experience in the healthcare industry
3+ years communication/customer service experience in the healthcare industry
Intermediate experience in Microsoft Word (creating / updating documents) and Microsoft Excel (creating / updating spreadsheets, pivot tables, and formulas)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical skills and exceptional problem-solving skills
Ability to independently manage multiple priorities
Understanding of the unique needs of the military and Veteran community
Strong personal integrity and the ability to form effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders involved in the inquiry process
Exceptional writing skills and knowledge of the tone for external written communication
Demonstrated ability to organize material from various sources, analyze and draw logical conclusions
Familiarity with HIP A A requirements

Project Details :
This position has not been formalized, but we estimate that the start date will be in February of 2024. The initial contract period would be for 1 year , with anticipation of a 1 - year renewal. The estimated hourly reimbursement would likely start at $40/hr . This role is 100% remote.
