WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Develop a vision and strategy for TTD, Chicago's entire independent agency and brand-direct businessOversee an existing team of high-performing and experienced Sales LeadersOversee and build upon relationships with senior leadership at independent agencies and brandsAttract, develop, and retain top talentWork cross-functionally with global client services and trading teams to cultivate accountsParticipate in product road map build out discussions based on client needs with senior leadership, product, & engineeringTake the lead in responding to RFP's or new inner agency opportunities, including qualification & win strategyWork closely with product, marketing, and revenue teams to constantly optimize efforts relating to company-wide goalsIdentify and close strategic up-selling opportunities by understanding core client business needsUsing knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company's unrivaled selling propositions and differentiatorsMentor and manage others in the organization with account responsibilityMake a positive contribution to The Trade Desk company culture
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
5-10+ years of experience managing and developing other sales leaders15-20+ years of experience in digital advertising in outbound sales, preferably in programmaticOutstanding sales leadership experience, with a track record of up-selling and winning net new accountsExperience working with media agencies and brandsExperience building longstanding, consultative client relationshipsStrong quantitative skills and ability to manage commercial negotiationsProven track record of exceeding revenue expectationsStrong communication skills with the ability to speak with C-level clientsProven ability to manage within a matrix environment, & collaborate across multiple departmentsExperience at an online publisher, ad network, ad exchange, ad server, SEM platform, DSP, or other online advertising roles preferred
