Job Summary
The Global Vendor Master Operations Analyst reports to the GSS/GFS Global Vendor Master Manager. He/She will be responsible for representing the overall Global Vendor Master setup process, as it relates to Finance, in various projects with a focus on business process, data integrity, SOX controls and systemic functionality. Ideal candidate would have experience in a high-volume enterprise. He/She will work directly with GFP project team, GIS, IBM and various AMAT organizations globally related to daily operations, process change management and system enhancements. This position is based in Austin, Texas office.
Major Responsibilities
Support Vendor Master Data team for all GSS/GFS MDG-related activities
One of Global Finance contacts for MDG, SAP upgrades, and fixes
Focal for VM CIP's testing/validations and SAP interface on going issues
Partner with cross-functional teams for execution of master data integration
Lead special VM operations projects and execute project requirements
Create and develop test scenarios and test scripts related to VM processes and projects
Perform UAT in required SAP databases
Ensure SOX compliance (including documentation retention)
Provide ad-hoc support for regional Vendor Master process owners when critical process issues arise
Create and develop ad-hoc analysis supporting vendor master operations and accounts payable
Support audit requirements and 1042/1099 tax reporting

Proven competencies, particularly around communications, problem solving, root cause analysis, process optimization, process controls and technical savvy
Excellent communication skills, time management, organizational, problem-solving and people management skills, self-motivated and have good interpersonal relationship skills
Knowledge of SOX and Process Controls, with a preference for knowledge relative to the Procure-to-Pay process including government reporting requirements
Attention to detail and perform tasks with urgency
Work independently or with minimal supervision
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in area of Finance or Accounting related field with 5+ years’ experience
Vendor master data maintenance experience preferred, accounts payable experience preferred, SAP experience preferred, proficient excel and MS office skills
Requires in-depth knowledge and experience. Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services. Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions. Works independently, receives minimal guidance. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

U.S. Salary Range:
$76,000.00 - $104,500.00
The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
