A Place to Be Proud.Responsibilities* Collaborates in the development of a scheduling system to improve efficiency and coordinate patient care. Monitors patient access and best practices relative to Clinical Therapies Assistive Technology within the local region and across national benchmarks.* Proposes and justifies clinical services; forecasts staffing, supply and equipment needs, and annual expense and capital budgets for the department. Monitors and sets benchmarking standards for clinical services through analysis of the local region and national standards.* Participates in recruiting of candidates and makes hiring recommendations. Oversees employee development and appraisals, compiles information regarding staff productivity, and provides summaries as requested. Monitors time and attendance information.* Monitors staff schedules to ensure coverage; as necessary, serves as back-up in the event of absence. Assigns work and serves as a resource in resolution of clinical or other issues. Mentors and supports clinical leaders in the area of Clinical Therapies Assistive Technology. Establishes and maintains competencies in Clinical Therapies Assistive Technology .* Collaborates with the Education Department and universities to develop education contracts and coordinate student experiences. Coordinates and supervises activities of students.* Actively participates in departmental planning and implementation of new programs. Participates in educational activities to enhance age-appropriate, developmentally appropriate, and cultural interventions.
