　　The Global Export Manager is responsible for daily operational functions and tasks, managing a global team of Trade Compliance Analysts, as well as special projects and assisting the Global Trade Compliance Director to streamline Global Trade processes and procedures. The Global Export Manager interacts with key areas of the business, including Sales, Logistics and Corporate Compliance teams and provides input on new global business opportunities.

　　This position is part of Supply Chain in Global Trade Compliance and will be located in Freemont, CA (Hybrid). At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.

　　In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

　　Manage export control issues, standards and processes for Cepheid

　　Analyze and interpret Global export regulations and maintain current knowledge of changes

　　Act as the liaison with the Thomsen Reuters team to manage relationship and updates or changes needed to the OSGT/OneSource Global Trade management system

　　Work closely with the Danaher Export SME on regulatory updates and ongoing monitoring of export risk

　　Provide regulatory consultation and communication to stakeholders in various business functions

　　The essential requirements of the job include: ​

　　Strong knowledge of the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and EU Trade policy

　　7 or more years of export and other trade compliance experience

　　Bachelor’s degree and 1 or more years of people management experience

　　Experience with Global Trade Solution management systems and ERP systems​

　　Good verbal and written communication skills, especially as it relates to documenting compliance procedures/requirements

　　The salary range for this role is $120,000 - 165,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

　　This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
