Position Purpose:

At Saint Francis Hospital , we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Float RN to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a critical part of our organization, you will provide exceptional patient care across various units, including Inpatient Trauma, Acute Care, Oncology, Neuroscience, and Cardiovascular Care .

What You Will Do:

In this role, you will:

Monitor, record, and respond to patients’ clinical status.

Assist with various levels of care and treatment , supporting and encouraging rehabilitation.

Be assigned to your designated unit by the Nursing Supervisor prior to each shift.

Float between one or more units during your 12-hour shift.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education : Graduate of an accredited college or university-affiliated nursing program. BSN graduates preferred .

Experience : 2 or more years of Inpatient Hospital RN experience.

Licensure : Current licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut .

Certification : BLS (Basic Life Support) required.

As a float RN, you will have the ability to work in all areas of the hospital and gain a vast experience in Nursing. Float RN’s Develop strong colleague relationships that promote career growth. Float RN’s have strong managerial and administrative support on all shifts.
