About Maintenance Electronics Technician-Hybrid Schedule

* Hybrid Schedule* $2,000.00 Bonus = $1,000 after 90 days and $1,000 after 1 year

Position Overview

The Maintenance Electronics Technician supports maintenance area regarding equipment installation,

maintenance, trouble shooting and repairs for horseshoe manufacturing and distribution operations

equipment with an emphasis on electronic, mechatronic, PLC’s , and robotics necessities . Demonstrates

Essential Job Functions ( required duties and responsibilities)

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

 Assists supervisors and technicians with technical support (electronics, PLCs, robotics) in the

installation, maintenance, and repairs of facility equipment.

 Follows all safety and SOP regulations and procedures, including the Mustad Performance System

(MPS)

 Assists with training, coaching, and monitoring of technicians, as well as supporting production team in

providing feedback for process i mprovement, failure analysis and problem resolution

 Is responsible for supporting of all maintenance activities related with electronic components, PLC’s

maintenance and programming, robotics maintenance and programming programs on an established

schedule using the PM software, and provides documentation as needed and reports

 Performs preventative maintenance on an established schedule, including testing on energized

electrical equipment if needed.

 Conducts failure analysis to develop and lead improvement activities and projects across

manufacturing and distribution functions

 Performs other duties as requested by management

Education, Experience, and Skills Requirements

 Training and/or certification in electronic, electrical, mechanical, PLC, robotics

 5+ years of general maintenance experience including trouble shooting and correcting problems with

PLC, Robotics, electronic, electrical, hydraulics, pumps and motors, control circuits and power supply

may be considered in lieu of formal training

 Continuous improvement mindset with a strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and principles

 Computer proficiency, including MS office platform

 Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

 Demonstrated skills with Programmable Logic Control (PLC) programs and Human Machine Interfaces

(HMIs)  Demonstrated proficiency with robotic operation/ maintenance

 Ability to read, write and speak English

Desirable Skills/Attributes ( preferred but not required)

 Ability to train and coach others, contribute as a team member

 Experience with TPM standards and development

Physical Demands

 Prolonged periods of standing, walking, sitting at computer

 Ability to frequently stoop, kneel, bend, balance, reach above shoulders, crouch

 Ability for frequent use of hands to feel, handle, touch, or manipulate

 Specific vision requirements for this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision,

peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus

 Frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 75 pounds

Work Environment

 Factory setting

 Exposure to heat, humidity, dust fumes, gases, toxic/caustic chemicals, airborne particles

 Exposure to significantly loud noise

 Exposure to moving mechanical parts on line, as well as moving equipment throughout the factory

 Mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which the company provides

 Infrequent exposure to heights
